How to play Football Score Attack
- Press Space or tap to start.
- The reticle sweeps across the goal. Press Space or tap to release the shot where it stands.
- The keeper patrols side to side, speeding up as the clock runs down. Its coverage is drawn as a dashed ellipse.
- After each shot the ball is re-spotted, which takes 0.55 seconds. The clock freezes while that happens, so pressing faster gains you nothing.
- Let the shot clock expire and you lose the attempt and the multiplier.
- Goals near the posts pay up to 30 bonus points on top of the multiplied base.

How scoring works
| Event | Points |
|---|---|
| Goal | 50 points times the multiplier |
| Placement bonus | Up to 30 for finishing near a post |
| Multiplier | 1.00 rising by 0.15 per goal, capped at 2.50 |
| Save or expired shot clock | Multiplier resets to 1.00 |
Gameplay tips
- Shoot behind the keeper, not in front of it. It commits to a direction and cannot turn instantly, so the space it has just left is the safest target.
- Build the multiplier early while the keeper is slow. A goal at 2.5x in the last thirty seconds is worth more than two at 1.0x in the first thirty.
- Never let the shot clock run out. An expired clock costs you the attempt and the chain — worse than a saved shot, which at least tested the keeper.
- In the final thirty seconds, with the clock at 1.4 seconds, take the first safe reticle position rather than waiting for a perfect one.
