Not coaching, fitness or medical advice
Some of our articles use real football vocabulary, and a few describe general ideas about timing, reaction and decision-making. None of it is coaching advice, and none of it is medical or fitness advice.
- Our games cannot improve your technique with a real ball, because your feet are not involved. We say so in the articles rather than implying otherwise.
- Our reaction test is a game, not a clinical measurement. It measures the whole chain from screen to key press, including your hardware. If you are concerned about your reaction time, reflexes or vision for a medical reason, speak to a qualified professional rather than a browser game.
- If you are training for real football, take your instruction from a qualified coach.
Accuracy of gameplay information
We verify every gameplay number against the game it describes, and our fact-checking policy explains how. Even so, games change. If we update a game's mechanics and you are reading a guide written against the previous version, the numbers may lag by a short period. Each page shows its last-updated date so you can judge that for yourself, and you can always check the game's own source in your browser.
Where we compare games or call something "best", that is our editorial opinion based on our own testing, clearly reasoned on the page. It is not an audited measurement, and you may reasonably disagree.
No affiliation with football organisations
Football Arcade is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to FIFA, UEFA, any confederation, any national association, any league, any competition, any club or any broadcaster. Where a real organisation or competition is mentioned in an article, it is editorial reference only.
All game names on this site are our own. All artwork is original. No club crest, league mark, competition branding, kit design or player likeness is used anywhere.
Third-party content and links
We link to external documentation and reference material where it genuinely supports something we have written. We do not control those sites, we do not guarantee their accuracy or availability, and a link is not an endorsement of everything else on the destination site.
The same applies to advertisements. Advertising on this site is served by third parties; we do not choose the individual ads, do not vet the advertisers' products, and are not responsible for what happens after you click one.
Your high scores and saved data
Scores are stored in your browser, on your device, and nowhere else. We cannot recover a score you lose by clearing site data, switching browsers or using a private window, because we never had a copy. Treat a personal best as a local record, not a backed-up one.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and the games working, but this is a small operation. Pages may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a problem at our hosting provider, and a game may be temporarily withdrawn while a bug is fixed.
Reporting a problem
If something here is wrong, misleading or broken, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections are published as corrections, with a dated note, rather than quietly edited away.
